Holy cannoli it has been a busy couple of days. We have everything moved into the house. Slowly but surely every room is coming together. It's gonna be a little while before we're really settled but Jude loves it already so I'm not worried at all.

Jude Amia/life update!
Wow I haven't been on here much and I haven't posted anything personal. I'm about to get even busier with the move and everything so I'll attempt to get you all up to date. Well, my babycakes is gonna be a whole year old in 17 days. That's incredible to me. It's been an amazing journey watching her grow so quickly and watching her thrive is a true blessing. She says so many words and can effectively tell us what she wants or needs. So far: Mama, dada, no, mawmaw, duh, yeah, Tonya, and blah blah blah are her favorite words to say. She shakes her head yes or no, claps, waves and tries to snap her fingers. She'll wave bye if I say "bye bye funny bunny!" (Harry the bunny) Jude loves talking to people on the phone. She has 9 teeth now. The top front 4, 2 molars on top, and 3 on the bottom. She eats most solid foods. Jude Amia uses a straw sippy cup except for her nap time and bed time bottles. She's been walking since 8 months so I've been getting a work out chasing her around. I'm so excited for her to experience all of the wonderful nature reserves we will soon be living close to. She's gonna have so much fun. This year has taught me a lot, I now know I'm capable of much more than I used to give myself credit for. My Jude taught me how to love someone more than myself. And whether Aric realizes it or not, our relationship wouldn't be where it is if I hadn't become a mom. I'm thankful that I had him there to help me through all of this even though it wasn't an ideal situation for him. He's made things harder on me at times but he's also made realize that I needed to learn how to balance the different aspects of my life. I'm so happy to have my little family all together finally. Only 9 more days till the big move. Jude and I are ready for the next part of our journey. Thank you for reading if you still are. It's been great reading about your lives and sharing ours with you ❤️
Jude has been so cranky this week!! She woke up 4 times last night, screaming but refusing her bottle. She didn't even want me to hold her. I know her teeth have been hurting, but I think it's more than that. I think she's extra tired bc of a growth spurt but she can't sleep well bc if her teeth. I wish I had a magical cure to make her feel better.
I cannot get Jude to go to sleep in the swing or play pen. If I rock her to sleep first, she'll sleep for 3-4 hrs, then wake up screaming for me. I rock her back to sleep and start the cycle over again. I have no idea how to get her to sleep without me rocking her. Ugh breaking a cosleeping habit is really exhausting. 😕
Baby update!
I just can't believe Jude Amia turned 10 months old on the 11th. This year has flown by! She says: mama, dada, baba, maw (her grandma), yeah, no, and bye. She claps, waves, makes a gimme hand motion and blows kisses. She can crawl, walk, and run. She has 7 teeth and can eat most everything. She loves her sippy. Right now we are working on breaking our cosleeping habit. I'll be working nights starting this may so she needs to sleep without me (😔) When we move, I'll start potty training her. She squats down to poop and her pediatrician says that's a good sign she's ready to start. We are moving the first week of May to Athens. She's gonna have her own room at our new house! And my roommate, Victoria, has two cats. Jude's gonna love it! I'm so excited that this new year is gonna be a new journey for us. We have come so far this first year, it's all up from here 💕
Jude has 4 teeth on the top and 2 bottom teeth. All the top teeth happened this week alone. What. 😳 she hasn't even been extra cranky!!
Jude took her first step!!
I was in the kitchen and she took a full step towards the gate bc my niece was too close to her. She is being a brat and won’t do it again so I can record it. I’m a mess right now. I’m so happy, I can’t stop crying. My baby is such a big kid now and I can’t handle it 😭
Pinterest addiction is real
I’ve made a board for Jude’s first birthday party. I’ve narrowed the theme down to 2 options: Sofia the First or mermaid. I’m leaning towards mermaids. Thankfully there are lots of amazing ideas on Pinterest to help me out! Check lists and everything. An old friend from college makes the most amazing, gorgeous cupcakes and she’s gonna make them for the party. And another friend from college, is going to do her 1 year photos. She’s never done a baby photo shoot but she has wanted to for awhile, I’m glad I can help her build her portfolio. She does amazing work too. I’m so excited to celebrate my daughter turning one!! And I’m very thankful for all of my amazing friends who are helping :)
