"Jimmy, daisy is the one with a chipped horn-" Scott chuckled as his husband turned his head in mock offense
"how dare you imply that i don't know!! My own husband, accusing me of not knowing our child by heart."
Jimmy snickered at the end, pushing up from where he was half-laid down, propped by his elbows digging into the soft grass and wildflowers, crossing his legs as he finally sits up his husband, busy with the third crown he'd woven today. It was comfortable silence before Jimmy finally spoke again.
"What happened to the other one?" The canary asked, running a finger right above the soft feathers on his cheeks, a newfound habit ever since he earned them after his first death.
"Well, I was going to stop by the pigpen to feed them, but one of the piglets snatched the thing straight from me!!" Scott grinned widely, clearly amused. "It's alright though, because she was cute."
Jimmy grinned, elbowing his husband gently "is that how i get away with all my mischief?" Scott grins, weaving the next dandelion into his crown. Speaking without any hesitance. "Oh yeah, one hundred percent."
Scott laughed as his husband's facial feathers fluttered, along with the blood that ran warm beneath his cheeks, painting them a subtle pink. All the canary could think about despite how he flustered at the flirt was just.. how lucky he was to have scott. In any way, really. He wouldn't mind. "I'm gonna divorce you." He huffs, though he wouldn't do it if his last two lives depended on it.
"You wouldn't know where to get the paperwork." Scott let out a small laugh, cupping the canary's face before pecking him on the cheek, sighing theatrically "Guess this is a marriage of convenience now, too much work to show you where to get them."
Jimmy just.. melted at the chaste kiss. Beaming before leaning in to give his husband a real one, just as chaste and loving. "Guess so." He agreed, matching Scott's dramatics.
