This is Rue Birdie Harper, the daughter that Lexi and Jude never got to have. Her family calls her Birdie!

In the “nothing bad happens” AU, Lexi would have found out she’s pregnant shortly after her and Jude’s wedding. Despite them both having no intentions of having children (for various reasons), they decided to keep it. Rue was born in August 2012 (which would make her 14 now) in the middle of a rainstorm.

She inherited her mother’s ASD, which makes her very socially reserved and selectively mute around strangers or in public. But with her family and close friends, she is very bright and loving. As both of her parents are nature enthusiasts, Rue of course came out the same way, loving both vulture culture and spending most of her life outdoors. Specifically, she has a deep love for forest animals and sea life, with her favourite animal being the blue whale, as she often communicates in a similar fashion to them.

Lexi and Jude are awesome parents (surprisingly)
