#latepost From the Investiture of the Honorable Stephanie Silver as a County Court Judge of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida. I was honored to be in attendance today representing the Spanish AMERICAN League Against Discrimination. Judge Silver has a wonderful background, family, and story. Learning about her judicial climb truly made me happy to have her as a friend. Hearing about her deep knowledge about the Holocaust and how it affected her family was enlightening. A similar story to Cubans, Haitians, and Nicaraguans. I even met her Rabbi.
