Day of love and Friendship
In many countries the "Valentine's Day" or the "Day of love and friendship" is celebrated on February 14, in others it is celebrated on November 14, or in Colombia on the third Saturday in September. As many know, I'm from Colombia, and I want to dedicate this article to the juggler’s couples. Those who had romances through the circus- juggling.
This time we will have 2 extraordinary couples. Couples who have given their lives to the world of circus and juggling. One couple is from Russia, and the other is from Bogota, Colombia. Next, we'll take a look at your life.
Maxim and Alsu Kiss
Maxim Kiss is an eighth-generation juggler of one of the oldest dynasties of the Kiss Circus (Ciniselli). He is grandson of the Great Russian juggler Alexander Kiss (winner of the prize Enrico Rastelli, like the best juggler of the world). He began juggling from a child, trained by his grandpa and then by his father.
He worked in Russia, Spain, Austria, Greece (TV bingo show), Japan, Taiwan, Germany, Korea, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, China, UAE, etc. where he had constant success in each presentation.
Alsu Kiss was born on November 7, 1986. His parents were sent to the Kazan Circus School. There he performed his aerobatic number, and began to travel to festivals. He then entered Nikulin Moscow Circus.
How did you meet and how long have you been together?
Maxim and Alsu: We met for over 13 years; we are also met in a circus in the city of Ryazan. It was an act of juggling, Ryazan was the city where the present. Alsu worked there with his act of air ring acrobatic. That's how it all started. We have 2 great sons named Artem and Alicia Kiss (Alicia was born a few months ago), which we hope will continue with the dynasty.
Isis Mendoza and Cesar Espinosa
His name is Cesar Roberto Espinosa Sandoval. He is from Bogota, Colombia. He is 21 years old, of which 3 years with 10 months he has been training non-stop juggling. He started juggling a friend who lived nearby and taught him to juggle with 3 balls. And so he began train until some friends formed a circus company called "MOLECU CIRCUS". Thereafter, each member of the company began to train in different disciplines of the circus.
Then, César, moves to a municipality called Cajicá, Colombia, where he continues his hard training. It also begins to associate with circus companies like Circular Malabar, with which I realize events like the day of juggling 2015 in the municipality of Chia, Colombia.
Isis Mendoza is 22 years old. She is currently an aerobatics instructor in Baca teatro- chía, Colombia and in tenjo, Colombia. It began 3 years ago to make a circus, for a friend who taught him.
How did you meet and how long have you been together?
Cesar and Isis: We met when I moved to Cajicá. Isis played swing, I approached him and asked him about the trick I already knew, and then I set out to meet her more.
we will celebrate the fourth anniversary soon. 3 years living together, working together on events juggling, offering workshops, and motivating people to practice this art in municipalities of Chía, Tenjo, and Cajicá in Colombia. We have also worked together in various schools as teachers of circus arts.
