2195. Karin and Jugo, bonding
"Oi! Jugo!"
Looking up, the male was met with Karin's gaze and irritated adjustment of her glasses. Pink hair fell over the side of her shoulders as she skimmed the firewood he had brought, clicking her tongue. "Is that enough?"
He lowered the sticks in his arms and looked at the pile. "I imagine so."
"Damn Suigetsu... leaving me to do this work while he's off with Sasuke-kun..."
Jugo looked up to see Karin muttering angrily, a scowl marring her features. Her ramblings had continued without his input for several moments before a small smile crossed the man's features and he looked down at the wood, picking up pieces and arranging them.
"You can go rest," he said, and his voice had Karin silenced and staring at him. "I'll work on this."
He thought her silence met she was leaving, but when a blur of red appeared in his vision suddenly, he looked up in surprise. Karin crouched across from him, still scowling, but a lighter one, and looked up when she felt herself being looked at.
"Stop staring at me and help me with this! I'm not lazy, you know!"
