DAY 5!!
Hi all! I'm currently on day 5 of my orange juice mono diet. i haven't been on the internet much lately due to a mixture of being busy as well not feeling the need for it. I am aiming for 7 days just to get my body used to it. today i felt very lethargic i just feel the need for sleeping but i cant seem to get to sleep. it is tempting as my family are cooking what we have conditioned to believe is delicious! i bought some non organic oranges from the market today they looked so beautiful and the farmer i was talking to was ensuring me that this is locally grown and the best in quality. i also read up on the farmer on the site he says everything they grow is made with highly nutritious soil. (i will be coming back next Sunday to get some more produce) i believe that is better then supermarket quality. i have a small abundance of organic oranges at home which are quite pricey but its fitting into my budget. -- health over wealth! -- i am really craving apples right now. during my fest on orange juice i notice my body overly heats it self up. apparently that is a sign my body is getting rid of stored drugs within its system. I also have a big load of coating on my tongue. A big tip i have notice is to succeed on a fruitarian diet (100% fruit) you must find the best quality produce. so i have planned that after my fest i shall buy some things that are in abundance organic apples, oranges, mandarin and especially grapes & bananas. I am looking forward to breaking my fest on some apples on Wednesday!! love & light x

Best Weight Loss Practice And Eating Properly
Hi. Tim here with another transition to food / weight loss / eat healthy video.
Just a quick one today, because this is actually take 2! I did my first video, and when I finished recording it, I went into my video editor, and there was nothing recorded. I don't know what went wrong. But it seems to be working now. I did a couple of little test ones, and it is now working.
OK, not a lot to report today, other than that you will not be getting a video from me tomorrow. That is because I am on holidays tomorrow, and I am actually flying to Phuket. So consequently I will be in the air, and by the time I get into Phuket it is going to be late, and I will have to clear customs and so forth. So I won't get a chance to do a video.
However I will be doing a video every day after that, while I am away, just showing you some of the sights of Phuket, and talking about the food, and talking about food experiences and so forth.
Just a couple of brief bits of information about food.
Firstly, for those people asking, yes, I am producing that ebook. I am working on an ebook now primarily targeted to juice fasting people. And it is going to be talking about my experiences on my 56 day fast. But also I am going to put together the best recipes I found, juice recipes, talk about how much juice I have each day in each amount of juice, how much I am having whether 500, 600 mls, 15 to 20 ounces, and so forth. The ratio of fruit to vegetables that I found for the best results for weight loss. All those types of things. Basically everything I can get together about the subject. And even including things like protein.
That's another really common question people were asking me was: what are you doing for protein while you're having your juice fast. Well, the thing is, did you know, that pound for pound, vegetables have a lot more protein that meat (some vegetables have more protein than others). So consequently if you are having vegetables in your juice fast, you don't need to look for protein anywhere else (and vegetables have a lot more good stuff in them as well!). You're getting enough protein in these fruits and vegetables.
Really I am trying to put together is not really an encyclopedia, but as much information as I can together, so that someone wanting to take a juice fast can get this ebook, and look at it and go, right, that's everything I need to get. Because I had to do a lot of research to get all the information I needed. Some of it I didn't actually know when I started. So that's why, my advice at the moment, where do I get all this information, is to say just start and you'll learn along the way. But I realize for some people who like to have all their information up front, you really need this sort of ebook.
So stay tuned for that. It is still realistically going to be a couple of weeks away. Because I am away on holidays I won't get a chance to look at that, and when I get back it will take me a while to finish it. So, probably in 2 weeks time I will have something to show you guys, and you can come back to me with any comments and see what you think.
So there's that.
Not a lot else to talk about other than that. I mentioned there was going to be no video tomorrow. But I will be back on track after that.
And today at lunch time, or, after lunch time, I felt that I was still hungry. It is about quarter to 3 in the afternoon here. So I left it for about an hour, and then I decided to snack. What did Tim have to snack? Well, nothing really exciting. I had an apple, some nuts and seeds, and a few dates. That was my snack. So, interesting that even though I felt hungry, it didn't even enter the equation that I was going to eat something "bad", you know, processed foods or junk foods. It was just a matter of what healthy options I had.
So I think I am following my, trying to listen to my body. My body said I was hungry, so I said, OK, I'm going to give you something. It was interesting because I had a much lighter breakfast, and I am wondering whether that was related to it. In the days prior to that since the juice fast ended I had been having smoothies. And this morning I only had a couple of pieces of fruit. So I am just wondering whether I need a bit more at breakfast time to carry me over so that I am feeling a bit fuller and not wanting to snack after lunch.
I will probably go back - because I am going to be away, I am probably going to be having bigger breakfasts than I would normally have here anyway. So it is going to be interesting to see how that pans out over the next few days.

Smoothie Diet Time Now The Juice Fast Is Over?
Hi, Tim here with another 'Eat Healthy' / 'Juice Fast' / whatever you like to call it 'Eat Raw' / 'Get Fit' / 'Get Healthy' type video!
Today I am just going to talk briefly about my transition back to food with some smoothie diet in it. For those of you who don't know, yesterday marked the first day that I was back on to solid food after a juice fast lasting 56 days.
Now if you want to see what happened during those 56 days, do go back and check my videos. I have actually done a complete history. Every day I uploaded a video faithfully about my progress, how much weight I lost, etc. And I am going to be doing a similar thing with my transitioning back to solid foods.
So, what did I do yesterday?
Well, I focused the first two meals on smoothies. In actual fact, in yesterday's video I actually showed you the low carb smoothie that I had for breakfast. I had a different smoothie for lunch, which was also some spinach, but there were also some dates. And it was a little less creamy than the other one, a bit thicker. And that was quite nice as well, and quite filling.
And for the evening I thought, I wasn't particularly hungry, so I thought I might try a few - oh, mango was the other thing I had in the drink, the smoothie for lunch yesterday.
In the evening meal, as I said, I decided to go for some dates. I had an orange. What else did I have? I had a few nuts. And I think I had an apple. I can't really recall right now. But that was really it. Just a fairly light on meal, just to make sure that I was OK with solids, eating them instead of consuming them in a smoothie.
No problems at all, and I was full quite quickly. So that was enough. I only had a little bit. I couldn't resist. I had to weigh myself, because I have actually weighed myself for the last 56 days of my juice fast. But I decided I would weigh today, because lots of people have said, Oh, be careful when you get back to solid food. You are going to start gaining weight. Well, I am happy to say that I still lost some weight. Now it was only a small amount. It was only 0.1 kilo, which is about 1/5 of one pound. But I didn't gain weight. So there you go.
Now, I am continuing my exercise program as well. I am still walking at least an hour every day. And I am also doing some of the yoga and some of the muscle exercises, etc. And the balancing type exercises on the Wii Fit as well. So consequently I still managed to lose weight as well, which I thought was quite amazing.
So, I will keep you updated. Today my plan is for lunch I am going to make a vegetable stew. And that is just a lot of different vegetables with seasoning and so forth. And for the evening meal I am probably going to do the same. I am probably going to have a light meal - a bit of fruit and probably some of those dates, which were quite nice. I had a couple of prunes as well last night, which weren't quite as nice.
I have to say, the dates tasted unbelievably well, that I had yesterday. Whether it was because it was the first bite of something I had in 56 days or not, I don't know.
And the other thing is I am going to put, make myself some guacamole. I have got all the ingredients. I have to go out and buy them shortly. I am going to make that and I am going to steam some vegetables. Maybe a bit of pumpkin maybe, maybe a bit of broccoli, and maybe a few other bits and pieces. And I am going to dip them in that home made guacamole as well, and see what that tastes like. And that is going to be it.
I am going to try and aim to have a light evening meal. I know that traditionally that's been one of my heaviest meals in the past, in my old eating style. But I figure that now that I have changed my whole eating completely it would be a good time to try and revise that. Because it would be better to have a larger type meal, if you are going to have one, during the day, so that you have got more time to burn off. And then just have a lighter meal in the evening.
Certainly that was all I needed last night, so I will see how I go again tonight. I am focusing on the health, and feeling absolutely wonderful, I have to say.
I have to say, I am pleased with myself, with the journey that I have made. And now I have finished the juice fast, it is definitely very important for me not to slip back into old habits. Because I don't want to have to find myself in that situation where I am sick again and overweight etc. Even though I still have some pounds to lose now, but I am not as overweight as I was before. Morbidly obese, effectively, I was. I don't want to be in that situation again. And to do that I have to eat healthy. And I want to eat healthy. I know, my body wants to eat healthy food. And I am absolutely going to do that. So I am going to nail that by making sure I am on track, and watching what I am eating, and taking care to make sure that I am not picking foods that have got too much sugar in them, or too much sodium, etc. I am really just focusing on health.
And I think if I do that, eventually it is going to become absolutely an every day part of my life, and it is going to be quite easy to do it. And I am going to gravitate towards those types of foods naturally. Which, again, is very empowering for me.
So, everything is still on track. I am still doing well, and I am absolutely pleased that I haven't gained any weight and in fact lost a little bit after transitioning back to solid foods. So that is a good - something for you guys to keep in mind if you are worried about gaining weight. It may not necessarily happen. But if it does, well it's going to only be a temporary thing anyway. The way I look at it now is I am going to be having more and more solid type foods, because of course the smoothies were already juiced down. (Or blended down, I should say). So when I try my stew for lunch and so forth, that is going to be a bit more filling and a bit more fibre and so forth. So I am not expecting to gain much weight at all, to be honest. If I gain a little bit here and there, I am going to be losing it with the exercise and of course with the overall healthy nature of my diet anyway is going to be pointing me down in terms of weight loss, which is fantastic.

Day 43 - Juice Diet Weight Loss Still Going
Hi, Tim here with my Day 43 update.
Overnight, or since the last time I weighed yesterday, I have lost 0.2kg, which is around about half a pound.
Total weight loss then, up until now, is 18.6 kg, which is 41 pounds.
My current weight actually for those of you who are interested is now 92.9 kgs, which is around about 204 pounds. And of course, when I started on this journey I was 11.4 kgs, which is around about 244 pounds.
So overall everything is still going fantastically well in my juice diet weight loss. I am still feeling energized, happy, lots of energy, and really just breezing a long.
As I said in a number of videos I do occasionally have the odd issue where I look at a bit of food, like cheese (?), or whatever and think, Oh, wouldn't that be nice! But really is just a passing moment.
My moments these are days are filled with having juice. I am having three juices a day. It's actually about 9 am here in Australia when I'm filming this. I haven't had my breakfast yet. I do try and have my juices around about when I used to eat. So, around this time in the morning, around about 9 o'clock to 9:30. Then about 12:30 to 1pm I will have another juice. And then in the evening which can be anything from about 6pm to about 7, to 7:30pm that I have the final one.
I don't feel the need to have any other juices, such as carrot juice, at any other point in the day. And I do drink water. I do try and drink water to keep hydrated. I don't feel the compulsion to have anything else, which is fantastic.
Alright it's only going to be a quick video today, because I am busy, busy, busy. I have other videos to shoot in my other, in my Internet Marketing business.
