asking about your ocs, i want to Know

yayayayy yippie yay! ^_^

so i have this main trio of goobers...

I've called them Candy Trio before, but that name doesn't really have any real ties to their stories or anything, it was just a title i picked just to call them something.

So their general vibe is, they're roommates and go on silly wacky adventures together! (though their house is technically owned by Julia) and some cool plot stuff happens, also they live in a city hub for interdimensional travels called Lovacia (it's not even the biggest hub, its like 7th, but still pretty big)

Liv is like 15, and xe ran away from home into another world from overbearingly protective and possessive family situation. She lived on the streets for a few weeks (badly), before meeting the other two and finding a more permanent roof over xir head. And so xe's just very happy to have found friends (and is kinda terrified of the thought of ever losing them...)

Julia is 18, and freshly moved into the city to try to make a living (ever since they were a child, they knew they wanted to be... a cheap souvenir shop owner.) Her signature thing - she learned to make jars contain the power of storm - lightning-in-a-jar souvenirs, which are kinda like plasma lamps if you really think about it (don't, buy one right now get one free!). Their mom was always supportive in their creative pursuits growing up, but that became more difficult after Julia got hit by a lightning (which is also the origin of their permanent white hair strand).

(Actually Julia's mother is the only loving parent present in either of their lives. I think it would come up only months if not years after the three start living together, bc Julia just never mentions it, and its a huge shock to the other two who thought that they all had something in common on that front lol)

So yeah Julia is the "adult" in most of their day-to-day stuff, but she has no real experience, so they just try their best, with a chill outwards demeanour.

and then there's Soyka. She's around the same age as Liv, but she doesn't know that for sure, because she doesn't really have any memories of her past! Only thing she knows, she came to Lovacia with her brother Philin, the two got into a big fight and she stormed off in anger. And then she never saw him again. She feels incredibly lucky about the fact that she managed to score some roommates in the meanwhile, but she is worried about what happened to him. (i havent thought it trough that much, but i think the guy just straight up ends up in a cult lol).

So in between of them all running the souvenir shop, and searching for Philin in her free time, Soyka just tries to enjoy herself (not dwell on whatever it is that happened that she can't remember), and make good memories with friends :)

my future oc headcanon is that liv would probably be interested in becoming a vet when she grows up, but ends up studying biology, and soyka would probably keep at it designing clothes and eventually gain recognition for it. dont know what path julia would go down, whether she just keeps running the souvenir shop forever or try for a career change at some point in her life
