@threeheadedsewerrat submitted: Hii! I've been finding these lil guys outside all the time but I have no idea what kind of millipede they are. From Vermont!
Hard for me to ID fellas with no distinct markings, but I'd go for family Julidae and possibly something like Cylindroiulus caeruleocinctus :)
Nightmare is not impressed to say the least
Not really ship art, nightmare is just so bad 🫶
Bug of the Day
Legs for days!
Ommatoiulus sabulosus (pol. Krocionóg piaskowy)
@trujellyfish submitted: hello i would like an ID! Southern Ontario. lil dude was hanging out in a bowl in my kitchen! no size reference but he was maybe like an inch long? inch and a half?? im not good at guessing measurements lmao 😅
i also included a video if that's okay bc i really liked the way his lil legs and antennae were moving :3 shiny baby
An excellent little millipede friend! I imagine in the family Julidae, but I can't get more specific than that. Harmless, of course. Hopefully they were put somewhere damp, because they will very quickly dry out otherwise :(
Bug of the Day
First warmish night of the spring, and I was expecting moths, but instead got millipedes all over the place...
