I just watched a junco absolutely DESTROY a moth. Literally pecked to bits, grabbed and smashed repeatedly into the ground for almost an entire minute as it was slowly ripped to pieces and the moth was alive for at least half of it. It really is a bitch of an earth if you're a bug, huh.
