((Just marking the post that made me die of laughter))
Julie laughs at Nora and shakes her head. "I guess we are..." She messed with her pajama shorts and grinned at Nora. "Speaking of Titanic, which movie did you want to watch?"
Nora shrugs, still smiling at her joke. “You can choose. I’ll watch just about anything. Except zombie movies, for obvious reasons.”
Julie snorted. "Whatever." She grinned at her friend and leaned against the headboard of her bed.
“It’s totally true!” Nora spoke loudly. “You two are like… Who are those people from Titanic? Jack and Rose? That’s what you two are like! Except you would’ve made room for him on that door or whatever she floated on.” She smiles. “You can just pose for him and be all,” she poses, placing a hand on her head and the other on her waist. “Paint me like one of your french girls!” She laughs, a large teasing smile on her face.

((Doing a short drabble on it))
After returning from the salvaging mission (it had fail so horribly, so freaking horribly), Nora didn’t speak. All she did say was a very short “They’re all… gone.” She was usually very good at hiding her sadness, but there was only one reason for that; she had a friend like Julie.
But Julie was gone.
Nora collapsed on her bed and finally let the tears fall, quickly turning into sobs. Her mind tried to trick her into hope, saying that Julie had been human when their eyes had met as Nora had crouched beneath the counter with a dead man on her lap. But Nora knew better. Her friend was dead, a zombie, a corpse, one of the undead.
She grabbed for her phone even though she knew Julie didn’t have hers on her. Perhaps spirits checked their messages in the afterlife.
She began to type out her message, though she knew she’d never send it.
I don’t think I’ll make it without you, Julie. You’re my best friend and my sister and mean more to me than you could ever know. I’m not sure how long I’ll last now that you’re gone, but if I do, it won’t be happily. I love you, Julie. Life will never be the same and death is already seeming like the better option.
She stared at the message for a while before hitting delete.
Are you sure you want to delete this message? The phone read.
She hit confirm.
"I would never leave R, Nora..." Julie smiles softly and crosses her legs. "He's my soul mate. To be honest, I think I fell in love with him the moment he put a blanket around me in his plane... I knew how much he cared." She can't help but smile more.
Nora smiles wide. She loves the fact that Julie is so happy with someone who’s so good to and for her. “You two are the most adorable couple that has ever existed on the face of the planet. No, wait! In the universe.” Nora believed it too.
"I mean..." Julie began. "I never really was single." She shrugged, a newly found habit from R.
Nora nods. “Yeah, I know. You always have a constant boyfriend.” She gives her friend a soft smile, tinged with sadness. “You always manage to get the best guys. First Perry, then R.” She pauses only a second before continuing. “You’ve got a pretty great record going, but you might want to end it with R,” she smiles. “He’ll always be right for you.”
