Thoughts...

I would be hypocrite if I say I am just fine with all that is happening. I would be one heck of a liar if I say I am not affected.

For a 26 year old woman like me who's been a fan of a lot of love teams from GMIK and CLICK, this is the first time that I actually supported a love team, that they are even part of my prayers.

Ever since Julie's 15, I've been a fan of her. You know it all just started when she sang a Cristina Aguilera hit while playing a piano on her 15th birthday on now defunct SOP. I knew her then but I never really recognized her. I followed Pop Star Kids supporting Renzo to win. It was only when I watched that particular birthday prod that I found her with a lot of promise. See, it wasn't first love but it came so deep. Since then, I watched SOP waiting for her number and I was so happy when she remained part of its replacement show, Party Pilipinas.

Since I've seen Julie being paired with different performers even on SOP, I was not surprised that Julie paired with a new comer-son of a famous rapper-Elmo Magalona. They shared the stage together but still, it was only Julie who I wanted to see. But that first ever short film produced by Party Pilipinas shown, changes came. I was not only a Julie fan anymore, I've been a fan also of the "tandem", I watched those 3 part short film more than 10 times! No, more than 20 times! Oh no, more than 30 times! That's how hard I was drawn to their chemistry. You don't need to imagine how I reacted on their Wazak Love Story. If you're adik, how you reacted when you were watching the musical was exactly my reaction that time. Funny how my boyfriend used to tease me for being a fanatic of a 17 year old artists. I was 25 then. And oh before I forgot, I am also one of you who read and waited for the updates of Proofyroofy! haha! I was also addicted with JuliElmo FF. I remember the first FF I read from Panda and Fishes, it was well written, it was one of the inspirations of my "If I didn't love you" if you guys still remember it :)

And then there were a lot of projects came in. From small to big projects, just like you, I supported all of them. From their pakilig prods and teaser in Party Pilipinas, to Maynila episodes, to the Mall shows, to fan's day, to Ustream, to Tween Academy, to Just One Summer, to Julie's album. (I am not the type of a person who will go to the fan's day,  special screenings, premiere nights but I make sure to be always updated)

Was that 2 years ago since JuliElmo started? It seems like a very long journey, it feels like 10 years of being addicted. It feels good remembering those times.

It was a journey indeed. A journey not only for Julie, not only for JuliElmo but that was definitely a journey also of the JuliElmoes, a journey of the adiks, a journey of the fans. A journey with a promising future but has to end.

I won't condemn the fans who were hurting, it's normal. I won't condemn GMA for getting Lauren, it's business. I wont condemn anyone.

What is happening now? Where are they now? The JuliElmoes? Julie and Elmo? Where are they? Sad, not because they will be partnered with different artists now but because I believe and I can feel that Julie, my Julie is hurting. I don't know, maybe she feels like after all her efforts, she now being left behind or maybe I am just feeling that for her. What I am sure is that, Julie is a talented person and I know that this sudden change won't be her downfall but a chance to prove that she can make it on her own.

Of course, I am also hurt by all of these but at the end of the day, I'm happy to realize that I am still a fan of Julie, I still love her and I will support her the best way I can.
