Her stomach growled on the way home from the daycare, spotting the diner and deciding to pick up something to take home. She hoped they had small portions, knowing there would be some regret at the end of this. Frannie went up to the counter, taking a seat and spotting a familiar face. “Hey, Juliette! “I got some pure shit,” he waved the baggy in front of her, a large grin on his face. “At least that’s what I was told, but who cares at this point as long as if it works. Want to join?”

Anthony had managed not to trip over anything so far, carefully carrying two cups over the woman he’d met while he was shopping. He stopped next to her, holding out one of the cups as he finally took his eyes off the floor. “I was told I had to give you this.”
