Ever since Halloween, Gabi had an unsettling feeling that wouldn’t quite go away. It nagged at her all day, the fear of running into Andrew at any moment around town playing into it. No one in town knew about the relationship she had with him, hoping if she told at least one person, it’d help settling these feelings. Gabi met Jules at one of the quieter cafes, practically hiding in a corner to have the conversation she wanted. Her hands held the cup sitting forward, leaning onto the table as she contemplated where to begin. “I-I have something I wanted to tell you.”

Anthony had been staying as far away from the pool as he could, at least for the time being. He wanted to walk around and enjoy other parts of it before getting into the water. His chair was pushed back as far as he could make it go, lounging in the sun. “I think I’m officially dehydrated enough to finally get into the water.”

His work schedule and visits with Luke and Mariana kept his mind occupied enough to not go back to the drugs. Something about today felt different though, whether it be the freedom of a party or hitting a new low from the multiple mentions about Belle, he needed a hit more than ever. A smile crept on his face as he spotted Jules, an idea forming in his head as he approached her. “Long time no see.”
