"I just think that Jo March from Little Women is gay” said Juliette as she opened up her second pudding cup and licked the lid. She read a lot, but she constantly reread Little Women. She wished she was a Jo, people who read Little Women time and time again always wished they were a Jo. But she was a Meg, or perhaps on the days she was more selfish she got to be an Amy. Amy was one of her favorites. “She wasn’t supposed to end up with a man at all, but the publishers made her put Jo with a man, so she said a big screw you to them and put her with an old professor instead of Laurie. I just think if Little Women was written today, Jo would absolutely have been gay. Amy still would have been with Laurie, and there would be a lot less contention about the matter” she rambled on as she dug into the second pudding cup. Juliette had a lot of opinions about classic literature, and even if Olivia didn’t want to hear, she was happy she could ramble. @kalidoscpe
