@julliette17 the ESB is what Jason & Co have been calling this season of Ted Lasso, since it’s darker, it’s the second part of the three-season arc, and it’s where more of the inner-demons are at play - see this screenshot below from this article:

The Scoundrel kiss is my own desires - if this season is Empire Strikes Back, I wanted it to be ALL of Empire Strikes Back, which includes the major setup of the Han Solo x Princess Leia romance.

My hope was that if The Powers That Be were gonna put us through emotional hell, we’d at least get confirmed Ted x Rebecca romance - maybe not them fully together, but blossoming feelings, flirting - what you see between Han and Leia while on the Millennium Falcon in the asteroid field (sidenote: Empire Strikes Back is my favorite Star Wars movie and I’ve always loved Han and Leia)

With two episodes left in the season I don’t know if we’re getting the romantic pairing parallels that I was hoping for, but that’s okay. I’m just happy to be here!

Tbh I don’t even remember how it was when I didn’t know about Quimchee’s Twitter/Curious Cat/IG, and now with Patreon I feel like I entered another world and can understand I Love Yoo in a completely different way. It’s the first time I’m so close to an artist I like, and as you say it’s great to be able to support her. Her streams are great, I watched some! I’m just worried about her now, because she disappeared several weeks ago... I hope she’s still doing good.
