"Thanks for meeting me," Elliot greets Rory, taking a seat in the far corner of the Daily Drip. It's not too crowded, a lot of downtowners seemingly vacating the city for the holiday week. He wonders what that's like, just taking a week off for fun. At least it means the wait for coffee wasn't astronomically long and this doesn't have to be awkward with waiting. "I'm uh...sorry about what happened." After all, he feels like a contributing factor to her getting the boot from their trailer. "I know we keep saying that's just how he is, but that really is just how he is." They're all stubborn in their own way but Hunter would cut off his nose to spite his face. @blackheartatl

+ HAZEL / SAVOY LOUNGE, DOWNTOWN

"You know it's a rule that if your friend's a bartender, you gotta tip them twice as much?" Cem says, flashing Hazel a grin as he serves her drink with a flourish. It's slow the day after the holiday, so he glad to see a friendly face. "I uh, heard about your brother," he says off-handedly, wiping down the bar a bit. "I mean, I guess everyone heard about everything. He okay?" His siblings had been at the arts fest and so had other Reapers who reported back about those who got caught up in the fight. When he'd heard St. James, he'd wondered about Hazel, remembering she had a brother who was more likely to have gotten in a fight than his quieter friend. @dxrkenedheights
