I don’t compare myself to others by reminding myself I’m not in the race of whatever anybody else is doing. I am curious but not competing. that’s fine. I’m over here doing me. watching and observing but I have no desire to do or “outdo”. if I do briefly as one does imagine possibilities (if I do X will I achieve Y) it’ll pass. because it doesn’t align with my personal priorities. which are less about social acceptance and more getting by. and having enjoyable experiences with whatever I can and choose.
