Orange Cat Update:

I have been feeding him in the morning and saying “Good morning sunshine!” as I approach.

It stuck.

His name is Sunshine now.

He meows at me as I approach! Mostly.

He is one of these that doesn’t 100% comprehend how to humans, so he will throw a hiss in between excited meows sometimes.

Not sure if he’s saying “I’m excited—but don’t try any bullshit—but I am in fact excited” or if he just does not know what sounds to make.

Bonus Sunshine fact: When the yellow-jackets try to eat his food, he tries to eat the yellow-jackets! Yikes!
