hi! Ive been trying to find some lysti refs but have been having trouble, I think theres a face one somewhere? but Im struggling to find it. If you have one readily available I'd be forever in your debt!

(Just make a yellow cat with some white + brown/orange as she grows older. She learns to look more like a cat as she ages but never nails it. She never has eye brows and her eyes are always weirdly human looking)

I haven't fully decided how Jumalaton ends so I can't say for sure, but it won't be on the same level of tragedy as Jumalanpelko

Jumalaton is a very different story from Jumalanpelko. I don't want to just make a Jumalanpelko 2, so it won't be the same "you know from the start that things will go bad" thing.

It won't be like. Really light either tho.

As someone with autism who hasn't ever felt like they fit in or feel like a 'person', I want to thank you for making Lysti :) she reminds me a lot of myself and I dig the concept (I usually get attached to supernatural beings, anyhow) plus she's also transgender like me! I appreciate the silly kitty and all the representation you put in your characters and art, it means so so much to me and I look forward to what you have in store!

Lysti is very much based on me growing up neurodivergent and queer and the horror of knowing something is different about you. So I wanted to make her like actually way different than the other characters and give her the vibe of "i am hiding something but i dont really know what"

Just, she's a nightmare flesh thing pretending to be a cat

And she also realizes she's not a tom at some point

I do wonder, would Lysti theoretically be able to manipulate her body/puppet/disguise to more closely align with her identity? Is that even how Creatures of Flesh work, or would she be too into her role/disguise as a cat to change that?

What do lystis littermates look like? we see a bit of them in the flesh of my flesh art and I'm curious to what they fully look like (no pressure though)

Ive been meaning to design them but havent gotten to it yet! I decided that theres two of them, Ilo and Riemu (both words for joy) and they are girlies

Yeah, making the blog ready for Jumalaton!

My plan is to start doodling the first pages soonish, tho probably not this month since hoe will be BUSY (i am moving and start handling Juma books soon) (I also was just ill and did not rest enough so i did not heal well)

I think I will be doodling the pages as I edit the Jumalanpeko 2 book but won't be posting them outside of patreon before book 2 is out.

Question about Lysti: when she makes a new body, does anyone question her new appearance? Or are they just like "classic Lysti!" Do they even notice?
