Santa Barbara Sunset!
The first weekend of 2015 my boyfriend and I decided to go on a mini day trip and spend the day in Santa Barbara Ca. We both had never been to Santa Barbara so we thought it would be a perfect day trip location. We spent the day exploring downtown, which is gorgeous by the way and staring longingly at all the cute spanish style homes. The Beach was absolutely amazing nothing like the LA beaches, a lot more calm and relaxing. After exploring downtown, visiting the Santa Barbara mission and watching a beautiful sunset at the beach we went to a little place called Cold Spring Tavern. The Tavern is located in the mountains above Santa Barbara and let me tell you on our way up there once you make a left turn onto the road that leads you to the Tavern it feels like you are literally going to the sketchiest place on earth. Right when you think you are about to drive of the cliff you seen a cute little cottage. The cottage is tiny and as soon as you walk in you feel like you are transported back in time to the late 1800s. I would advice to go for breakfast or lunch it is less expensive and i think it would be an amazing way to start a day or a weekend.
