They were in Deepak’s rooms in St Maur House. He had already visited Ira, but now it was time to turn his attention to his other patient. Less urgent in his flesh wounds perhaps, but no less important in Zachariah’s mind.
“How are you feeling?” He asked as he checked the dressing on Deepak’s injuries. It was a simple question, something to slip them into the deeper conversation he anticipated them having. Deepak could take it how he wished, focusing on the physical or the mental.
“I see you have been very attentive to Mr Vaisman since the incident.” An observation without any judgement. Although... “I hope you have been giving yourself the same kind of care.”
