Ah Jun, you clearly are an angel sent from above, exactly like prince Manami Sangaku. 

I don't know if you ever started reading the manga or not but it's not much of a spoiler to say that he's the cutest and kindest angel. If you didn't read the manga, they you will see soon-ish how cute and meaningful was his first meeting with Onoda. It was really positive thing and left both of them happy and satisfied (welp, I kind of made it sound like they met for some quick handjob or something rofl but nope, just cycling). Manami lives and breathes cycling and even when he isn't cycling, he's thinking about it. He's pretty individualistic which is easy to notice. He can be also very fierce while competing but this I something I could say about most of Yowapeda boys. I think Manami and Onoda are meant to be these friendly rivals from the very first meeting and it will stay that way until they graduate or something. Manami is also charming enough to make character who considers almost everything and and everyone  as gross call him not gross lol. It's a huge compliment! 

As for Hakogaku - ah. I love them so much. So you know about Nekoma being Karasuno's fated rivals, right? Well, I would say Hakogaku is Souhoku's fated rival school. And their rivalry is very positive and affirmative; also very healthy. They work so well together, even when they are competing. It's really cute because Hakogaku boys, recognized as champions and true aces, are also super-good kids with gentle hearts. And because I tend to fall in love with rival schools, obviously I couldn't resist their charm. They have distinctive personalities and they make Souhoku complete. 

Kind of related to that but different - my otp. My damn ultimate otp I can't shut up about. They are like personification of that fated rivalry in the most, uh, intimate way? I mean - I'm sure all of them take it personally and all but it was shown quite clearly that Makishima and Toudou took it a bit further. It's said that they were competing against each other multiple times during these three years and they are pretty intense about their race ahaha. I kind of seriously think that Toudou has this giant crush on Makishima and while I wouldn't rush to say that Makishima feels the same way, we know for sure that he does care about Toudou, at least on the level of their rivalry. They are really different people and express themselves differently - Toudou is very extroverted while Makishima is an introvert - but they still are really good duo with great dynamics and I think they are really fun together even if you don't ship them. But yeah, they have a lot of feelings regarding each other (to the point of being hilarious). I kind of hope that merchandise manufacturers will take advantage of big popularity of this ship and that they will try to milk it as much as possible because I'm more than ready to blow my money on some lulzy merch with them.
