Yesterday was so, so marked in our nation’s history for the most haunted reasons. #tulsa1921 is thankfully being remembered for its infamy, cruelty, and racist zeal against a thriving Black local commerce that once was full of life, love, and wealth. I understand that I am slightly late to the acknowledgement now that it is June 2 but #june11921 must be known.
