June Hovick -- The Ringmaster
I finally finished it! I needed something to jumpstart myself, and apparently making a silly set of sprites and finishing this piece were the ticket. Excellent.
I'm trying to push myself with color things -- I tend to play it safe and boring. LET'S TRY SOMETHING DIFFERENT.
As for the costume, when I designed it in the first place, I was being heavily influenced by The Night Circus, which is set in late Victorian/early Edwardian times -- thus the hair and the gold braiding and the button boots. And yes, I did put that chunky June/Ernest/Maks design on a ring for her. Because I can.
