One of my fave pics of him!
For Friday: a funny pic of my cats fighting, from long ago
WIP game: love ❤️
howdy howdy 🤠
I didn't think we had used "love" yet, but then I saw this in Perhaps, Perhaps, Perhaps chapter 6:
“Any family? Sisters, brothers?” Jake's jaw clenches as he looks forward. “Of sorts. They're… pretty absent right now. But maybe they'll turn up sooner or later.” He looks back at you, his face a mix of emotions. “I bet they'd love you.”
-excuse me while i go in the corner and ponder how I could hurt myself like this
send me a word to guess if it's in one of my WIPs
2, 4, and 22 for the fic writer asks?
2. Do you plan each chapter ahead or write as you go?
I always have an outline for every multi-chapter I write. Now, that doesn't mean I always follow it! LOL I do, however, plan each chapter ahead of time for the most part. Sometimes, if I'm not sure exactly how I want a conversation to go or which direction the smut is going to go, I'll just write that as I come to it, but I at least always know what direction I'm going before I start.
4. Where do you find inspiration for new ideas?
Everywhere! Books I've read, shows/movies I've seen, stories other people tell me, even dreams! I try not to take ideas from other fic, but I often find ideas I've already written have been done by someone else. This happened a lot when I started writing Damerey. I had been writing and had about 5 stories written before I even started reading others, and wow were there a lot of similarities! I've determined that it's great to have something new and original, but it's okay to tread the same story ground as others before you, especially if you put your own special spin on it. Great minds think alike! My imagination is always on the go, so I come up with ideas on the daily.
22. Are there certain types of writing you won’t do? (style, pov, genre, tropes, etc)
I answered that one here!
Thank you so much for the asks! Now I'm off to try and write some more!
@juneknight June is answering asks apparently, and I am Weak. Go follow her please. I promise you will NOT be disappointed. I am only. one. woman. June!!!
P.S. I owe Ivy @ivystoryweaver a shi ton of replies and also my beloved June @juneknight. So those will be coming. Just been a rough couple days so I gotta scrape together the brain power.
