For the 10th day of the #junemaskchallenge, I have the #Innisfree Real #Quinoa Mask! • The mask goes on sort of like a gel paste like consistency, spreads on really well with my Skinfood mask brush. Feels cooling on the skin at first because of the wetness of the mask, afterwards, it dries and tightens and the little grains get harder in texture. When washing off, the little grains softly physically exfoliate the skin, too! I let this stay on till it dries which is usually just 10ish minutes. After washing the mask off (which doesn't take an insane amount of work, thankfully), my skin feels softer, smoother, hydrated and plump too! I really like using this mask post clay mask and ore acids to feed my skin some hydration before I dehydrate it with the acids my skin needs so desperately. • Scent is somewhat strange lol. It has sort of a sandalwood+henna like scent. V desi beauty products lol. It's not ultra strong and I don't mind it but I can understand that some people might but it's not so strong that you smell it all the time. Or I've just gotten used to it, who knows. • They give you 100ml for $14 which is really nice. Will I repurchase though? I'm not sure. I definitely like it but I do want to explore the world of wash off masks before I settle down. • My rating: 4.5/5. Hey friends! Sorry for the lack of posts for a bit, I've been swamped with work. Especially today and yesterday with cake orders for Father's Day and the kitchen disasters that ensued. Sigh 😪 • Anyhoo, I'm back today for my entry for the 18th Day of the #JuneMaskChallenge! This was given to me by my sweet bestie @fairuzmusarrat wuv u boo. • Honestly I didn't think my skin would like this mask so much! The packaging says 'cream-gel mask' and ain't no dry skinned person feel safe when they see dat lol. But rest assured, this moisturizes so well! This sinks amazingly well into the skin (not like 'disappear-into-the-skin but like nice enough) and leaves my skin feeling soft and plump! • I actually lived through a dry winter night with this as a standalone moisturizer and woke up with skin that wasn't dry so I think that's a pretty huge credit. • I honestly really wanted this because of the packaging. The Body Shop has been stepping up their packaging game and it's been leavin me wantin EVERYTHING! • This smells....like laundry detergent. This is the thing I hate most about this. • The texture is a memory gel so you can break the product up with a spoon and it'll come together once again. Plus it bounces back to the touch! But as you start to warm the product between your palms, it starts to 'melt down' and spread out onto your palms nicely. Also, a little goes a long way, even for me. • This doesn't mix amazingly well with oils and essences or ampoules in the sense that it takes a while to mix those products in with it.
