Hoseok nodded his head sadly, looking down at the pan on the stove and glancing over to the mess on the side. “We tried at least!” He said trying to make light of the situation. They had been alone at the dorm and wanted to surprise the other members with a nice meal, but somewhere along the line it went completely wrong and they’d been left staring at a burnt beyond recognition stir fry.

he should’ve known this would come, they both had expected it he was sure, even if it was just the smallest thought in the back of both of their minds. he had only hoped that it wouldn’t happen but alas, his fears seemed to have come to life the moment the male spoke those words, those four simple words.

“I think I’m pregnant.”

a look of pure horror had now taken over his otherwise, calm features, eyes widened considerably so and lips parting in the shape of an ‘o’ to express just how ataken back he’d been and quickly, he rushes out his words, tumbling them over one another, “that can’t possibly be mine!” his head is shaking from side to side before he averts his gaze towards the nearest object beside the both of them, that being a small side table, “does she know about this, henry?”

he swallows thickly, awaiting the answer from his lips– jeongguk should’ve known that following those yahoo!answers was the right idea because now, all due to mere curiousity, his friend had been impregnanted. no more messing with ouijia boards, this moment was the day he was going to swear off of even thinking about them.

All Henry was implying was that he had eaten too much. Way too much. This is his first day off after finishing his drama, so he decided to finally cook something for himself again — it was a little too much and a little too good to stop eating, so now here he is, suffering from the feeling of his stomach being about to explode. “I think I’m pregnant,” he moans without a second thought, just a random thing he throws out there to try and joke about himself. And when he then looks up at Jeongguk, the other’s expression of nothing but pure horror almost caused Henry to pause for a moment.

“What — ...” The man is unsure whether to be scared or to laugh — but the latter would probably make his stomach pain a lot worse, so he chose to just keep staring at his friend instead. Finally, when the other speaks, a small grin tugs at the corners of his lips and he shakes his head slowly, letting his grin disappear again to try and remain a somewhat serious expression on his face. “No ... No, it’s not yours. I’m not gonna need your money, don’t you worry.” Averting his gaze from Jeongguk, he then continues to answer his question, biting the inside of his cheek to suppress his laughter. “She ... does. She thinks I got myself pregnant. It’s some sort of self-protection, I guess.”
