Doing some sketch exercises by testing with more shapes, I want to work on making my characters look distinct and unique (so I don’t fall into same face syndrome lol)

I have three characters as tests, Juniper is more circular and round (save for her fur and ears), Boulder has the same roundness but is more square (literally), and Willow has a lot of rectangles and triangles (bc pointy = evil lady)

I hope to improve my designs more and keep on working towards improvement! (Also might not post too much bc I’m in school now)

I’m just doodling stuff rn but here’s the canonical height difference between Juniper and Wolf I did a bit ago. I found it funny to see just how small she is lol

Working on some things for my ocs! Still a bit rough but hey, it’s something (I’ve been drawing nothing but Jax for the past two months and half of the drawings I can’t show here lol)

I did a semi-redesign of Juniper! It’s mostly just how differently her fur grows out from her body (I wanted her wolf/coyote traits to pop out more), but other than that nothing much has changed lol.

The variants are her naked version (scandalous!), her defender version, and both her chief versions (young and old)

Trying to work on Juniper’s hybrid appearance by making her wolf attributes more prominent other than being fluffy lol. Also sorry for disappearing, college has been busy and I was having really bad art block. I hope it get something out by Halloween tho!

A little test animation of Juni! The sizing and shapes are out of whack but I’m trying to get back into my groove. I have more coming out to prep myself for bigger projects!
