date: april 10th time: after location: spring celebration
It’s safe to say that everyone is still very much affected, one way or another, by Red’s outburst. It’s also safe to say that this is one of Wade’s most memorable spring celebrations, if not the most memorable to date. Henley’s almost scared of what could happen during next year’s.
It’s been a while since Red’s stormed out now, but people are still talking about it. Talking about it like they don’t understand why Red would barge in to ruin everyone’s fun. Henley can’t handle it.
With her mother busy gossiping with the rest of the housewives, Henley’s free to sneak away, cup of spiked lemonade in hand. She manages to make it out of the meeting hall, leaning against the peeling panelling on the side. That’s when she notices someone else out there. While Henley was expecting to see others milling about, further away from the ruckus, she hadn’t been expecting this.
“You’re Juniper Smith,” Henley blurts out, seconds before her brain catches up to quell her excited little outburst.
