I was out for lunch with a friend, and a kid is screaming his head off and I am feeling so much pity for the mother, she looks so stressed and embarassed trying to shush her kid but...I also embarassingly thought "Man, back in my day, if my mom saw me do that, she would pull on my arm and threaten to make us leave the restaurant if I kept crying and that would've shut me up in three minutes or so."
