Type of childhood: Harker was born to Clea Malfoy, but not wanting to raise him herself she left him in care of his father Valentin Hartford. Valentin was an auror at the time working closely with Juno Creed who he later ended up dating. Harker was raised by both of them in London and the two took part in the Second Wizarding War. After the war Valentin became Head Auror and they moved to live in Puddlemere.

When Jesper started dating Judy Bones during their sixth school year Harker pretended to have a crush on a fellow Hufflepuff girl and his prefect partner Betty.
