By creating mixture of human body and machine parts I intend to operate a series of chaotic emotions in the frame. From my perspective the world and all the issues happen around are beyond the reach of my understanding. The closer and harder I try to look into it the more even too complicated to understand. I feel very similar chaotic emotion when I see an industrial scene or any complex mechanical structure in that it's too difficult to see the whole and understand how it really works but I just know that is somehow working and performing. I'm using human face, figure and machine parts in symbolism in expressive interpretation to depict uncertainty and ambiguity.

Passionate Silence, Junsoo Kim

As I consider a human figure as fragments of color, I look for abstract elements within objects and the backgrounds. Seeing a person and the surrounding as vibrating energy, I want to view how they interact with each other and can be fused together. I convert them into planes of color combination to be simplified and less rendered, so the whole image has an abstract interpretation of emotions and imaginations.

Inspired from martial artists seeing their faces in a match fully covered up with blood, and because being in a match is sort of their goal and all the process in the fight is their glorious moments in my opinion, so I found beauty in it considered their blood as petals.
