God, I don't know why no one talks about the fact that poor Junior literally lived through the same thing as both of his parents. Misato abandons him as a baby, probably at 3 years old little Junior literally had to work for WILLE, with Misato watching him from a distance but not really being there for him, Junior already worked and had to survive in the apocalisces like his father Kaji . Misato didn't even leave him a babysitter, he literally asks Ritsuko at the end to take care of him, which shows that he is really alone, Ken Ken only visits him from time to time to send photos to Misato. Misato basically repeated his story with his both parents to their son, Misato had an absent mother and her father sacrifices himself for her to compensate for his mistakes as a father, Misato does the same to her son. FUCK I'M ANGRY. I wish I had seen more of Kaji Junior, he is a character with so much wasted background.

I always think that Kaworu would give Kaji Junior a cute nickname since they were a couple, something like that, "dear" or "honey", but for some reason my Latin American spirit tells me that it would be "my chambeador boyfriend"
