One of the concrete guys just informed me I made him feel stupid (complimentary!) because of how I carried a sheet of plywood, which was vertically on my back instead of the traditional horizontally in my arms.
My disdain for my fellow man grows day by day.
David Attenborough: Behold, the majestic excavator.
David Attenborough: Whilst normally a ground level terravore, using its impressive neck for leverage against its treads, it is known to occasionally engage in light demolition of one or two storey structures. Much like the north american beaver cannot abide the sound of running water, the excavator seems to object quite strenuously to the creak and sway of derelict steel framed structures. It will systematically shred the offending building into neat bundles, to be hauled off by the symbiotic dump trucks, leaving a clear and empty lot behind, perfect for excavating a new building foundation.
I am about to become an unbearable forklift enthusiast.

You can say what you like about country, but you HAVE to acknowledge that songs that make you cry about a dog serve a vital and necessary purpose in society.
Construction dudes need to cry too sometimes, and sad songs about a guy who won't sell his house because his dog is buried there are like training wheels for healthy expressions of emotion for them.
