playing dnd be like.... here's all my plot points and here's the npc that will essentially like help you out. He be shifty and suspicious but you like roll high charisma and he can you know help.

I have a problem when I’m statting out an NPC where I Instantly want to then play them as a character instead.

I.E Izzek the Lizardfolk, who not only doesn’t understand metaphors but uses them inappropriately.
