It'd be really interesting to see a demeanor rework for DOL

I mean I don't mind how it is now imfuckingaddictedafterall BUT

Id like to have PCs that can be very sexually submissive or attentive but also be more "bratty" in how they speak and interact. Like a tsundere for example.

AU where Lily is a "retired" captain, not because of age, but because he's been let go. He was caught with another man, and some of his crew mutinied, threw him overboard and tried to make it look like an accident. Lily was dashed against the rocks, scarred his face up pretty badly, took one of his eyes. The men were charged, of course, but Lily couldn't go back. His reputation was ruined and now his eyesight wasn't good enough for the Navy.

So he takes charge of a lighthouse. It's offshore, but not by much. Just enough for a bridge to connect the little island to the mainland, though, the high tide drowns it every time it comes in. Lily is alone there, and lonely, but he's safe.

Anyway... yeah. Imagine someone being assigned there. Having to work with this man who is desperately trying to prove that this old lighthouse is worth keeping around. Someone who knows his livelihood is at stake if things don't go exactly as they have always gone. This rugged man who is so, so scared.

why do i have to change myself to be considered normal and acceptable? why can't society and every individual around me just change their standards of normality and acceptability to fit mine? are they stupid?

Some of you speak before you think about if what you say is about to make any sense.

And what I mean by this sentiment is that you believe all feelings you experience are justified.

They are not.

They exist and they are allowed to breathe. They are allowed to be given space to exist within you.

But some of you speak them as nonsensical facts. As if everything you say somehow is justifiable and excusable. And yet you did not think to see if your words hold water when put to the test. Often, if scrutinised, they sink with basic critical thinking. Something many of you also may lack the application of. It is not that you do not possess critical thinking. It is that few of you apply it when it is needed as if it is a useless tool.

It reveals so much about how there is naught even but a crumb of thought inside thine skull.

Ask yourself what it is that you thought you needed to defend. For if there was no guilt to be had in these words, you would not feel a wound. For there would be nothing to attack and be injured.
