I think we should talk more about how creepy as hell Vrissy and Harry’s relationship is when it’s pretty much confirmed Rose, Roxy, and John have no clue they’re a thing.

Who do you think would’ve won if vm had gone to worlds 2018 and both them and pc skated cleanly? I feel like judges wouldn’t want to unseat the new Olympic champs but normal rules just don’t seem to apply to pc.... Pyeongchang was such a huge exclamation point on vm’s career but I thought it could’ve also been cool to see them skate without the pressure of the olympics and just do it for themselves one last time

oh pc would have won no matter what, wouldn’t have mattered what they did or how well they skated, the judges would have given it to them. evidenced by the short program which beat the score of vm at the olys (laughable) and and even bigger free skate score than at the olys which culminated in a new world record score for both the short and the free. that was essentially a giant banner saying “if we could have given it to them at the olympics, we would have!”

in other news, i think it was an asshole move of them to even go to worlds. the only reason ice dancers go to worlds after the olys is if they haven’t won worlds yet (why dw and vm went in 2010 but not 2014) pc just wanted their easy win. if they hadn’t gone, h/d would have had their world title (which, i personally think they deserved that season and that worlds), weapo would have finished their career with a nice silver, and then anna and luca could have ended their career with a worlds bronze, which would have been their first words medal since they won post in 2014. it would have been lovely for all involved. instead, pc got a clout gold medal. sigh.
