I agree with not bringing Rose back. But being in talks with Billie to bring back The Moment/Bad Wolf?? Now that would be cool. Especially since The Moment is so important in the comics. She’s sort of this saviour of the Doctor’s companions and it’s brillaint!
I can see that, but I also just think that Billie has moved on. To me, I think she’s more focused on her new projects and adventures and now with baby #3 on the way. I just don’t think it’s a good idea right now. Where is this Prebble show that Billie has teased about? Isn’t Billie directing her own film now? That takes a very long time!! I wanna see! But anyway.
And again it annoys me that we haven’t even seen the new companions yet so many are wanting the older ones back. Give the new guys a chance!!!! Rose Tyler’s time, in my opinion, is done. It’s Yasmin, Graham, and Ryan’s turn now. This is their show. They belong to Chibnall. Rose is Russell’s and it just seems like beating a dead horse. I’m not opposed to Billie being back for 1 episode or an anniversary special. But not right now and not as Rose (per se)
If you’re gonna bring back a companion, why not a classical one? They are just as important. As is Martha. And Jack. And Donna. 3 characters who sometimes were cast aside in favour of a Rose plotline it just seems….meh.
I like Rose and I do love Billie. But I’d be dissapointed if they brought Rose back rn and or somehow made the season about her even when she’s not there (glares at s3).
If they’re not gonna bring back River or Clara who (whether people like it or not) had HUGE rules in the doctor’s life, Rose deserves the same treatment.
I’m excited for Thirteen because of the CHANGES. I personally want a NEW NEW NEW NEW AN ENTIRELY NEW ERA OF DW. N E W.
But if that’s just me, that’s okay. But I won’t hide my opinions if they’re not the norm.
