it’s crazy how gender and sexuality intersect each other. now that im fully accepting that im nonbinary, i have to rearrange my relationship w bisexuality. shit is crazy

Was involved in wedding just before lockdown and yesterday I found out that the bridesmaid (who is awesome, I didn’t know her well before the wedding) had hooked up with the pianist that weekend AND they’ve been Zoom dating AND the pianist is currently transitioning mtf and is using she/her pronouns to the surprise of many of her friends AND that the bridesmaid in question has only recently discovered (at the age of 39) that straight people don’t flirt with all their friends, or regularly check out people of a variety of genders, and that the word she has learned to apply to herself is “pansexual” and they’re in love.

Gettin real tired of people calling/alluding to me as being “straight-passing” like?????!??????? Just because I don’t see it necessary to come out to the entire world and mention my sexuality constantly and I get with dudes and I’m not rocking a snapback automatically gives me privilege?? YOU DON’T KNOW ANYONE’S SEXUALITY AND/OR GENDER UNLESS THEY TELL YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!  I’m tired of “not being queer enough”....this isn’t something I should have to prove in the first place. I am who I am and that should be enough.

I would love to get with // be with a girl in this stage of my life right now, not only bc I’m tired of being disappointed by boys, but bc it’s a part of my sexuality and I feel like I haven’t really taken it seriously in the past?? And plus girls are majestic creatures!! I just don’t even know where to start on that tho bc the majority of the girls at queer parties I’ve gone to in the past are just straight girls tagging along with their gay friends so I just feel like I might come off as creepy trying to hit on a girl at a queer party?? How fucked up is that statement??????? UGH STRAIGHT PPL, YET AGAIN, THIS SHIT AINT FOR YOU!! 

But it’s also scary bc this would be completely new territory for me and that might mean I have to come out to certain ppl and idk....I usually don’t care that much about this kind of stuff and attraction just kinda happens but I kinda care a little bit tbh

I really want to go to pride at some point but like ...... it's not for "allies" !!!!! Not for those who think now that marriage equality is in all 50 states, that equality and love have won and the fight is over. And not for all the straight white cis men who are there to hook up with people and being super disrespectful!! And also there's the underlying discrimination towards anyone who is not a cis white gay male!! Like.....idk I'm afraid I won't have a good experience and I know that's stupid but !! I really don't wanna deal with shitty people while I'm just tryna celebrate something that's a part of me
