People who have been to/live in Munich, Germany! Mind answering some questions? Sorry I've never been out of England, I don't even have a passport and im a bit of a neanderthal when it comes to other countries. Trust me, I'm dying to travel.
What are the streets like? Crowded? Is it like London where there's cars and people everywhere, you know, like mega populated? Or is it cozy and quiet? Maybe somewhere in between?
Houses! Is there any striking difference or something unusual?
Attractions! Any attractions come to mind? If you were only visiting... Where'd you go? What did you do?
Weather! Is it hot most of the time? Humid? Cold? Sweater weather? Can I get a general weather expectation for every month?
FOOD!! What food(s) is Munich/Germany known for? What might someone cook for their guests? I know I could google this, but I'd rather ask real people :')
Roads! Are there long roads that wind down cliffs and make you fear for your life like in Cornwall, or is it flat? Are there mountains/hills? Is it easy for someone to find there way? Easy to memorise the place, or could you still find yourself getting lost even after living there for ages?
Smell! This is vague, but is there a particular smell you associate with Munich/Germany? What does it remind you of, or what does it literally smell like?
A colour you associate with the place? This could be based off of vibes, culture, anything.
Got any photos? I never actually know if the photos that I'm looking at are what I'm looking for
And, in general, how would you rate Munich, or even Germany as a whole? On a scale from 1 to 10, 10 being the best place on earth. Just curious! <3
And then, a question for everyone - If you've been living away from your home for a while, and you come back to your home/ home country after, say, maybe a couple years, what does that feel like? What does it feel like coming back to such a familiar place, one where you once made such great memories? Walking the streets you once walked so long ago?
thanks! <3
