part 1 of 2 bcs I had two different ideas aklsjngjagdng
both are part-divinity bcs it was easier for me to come up with/research!!
actual explanation and stuff will go below the cut bcs it's mostly just me infodumping :-]
Ok I got the idea for this one in a very conveluded fashion. I play the rhythm game Arcaea and I really liked the idea of using shards of glass as a main weapon/design piece! From there it went to mirrors, and then it went to Leinth, who is only really known about from being inscribed on the backs of two mirrors. They're an Etruscan deity, so I did my best to do them justice in terms of clothing choices hehe!!
True Name: Leinth
Height: 5'8" / 173 cm
Origin: Etruscan pantheon
Alignment: True Neutral
Gender: N/A [fluctuates, generally uses they/them]
Rarity: 3* Servant
They don't remember much about themself, given that so little is known about them. This also means their power is limited! Their summoning line ("Caster-class Servant, true name Leinth... Huh? Lancer...? How odd...") is meant to indicate that they could be summoned as either a caster or a lancer (though the latter is less common hehe). I based that off of the one mirror depiction, where them and I believe a love deity were shown? They're on the side leaning on a spear, and so while they use caster-esque attacks in their first ascension, they use spearlike projectiles and stuff in their later ones hehe :-) From their memory loss, they sometimes get confused with some servants that have a similar divinity to other deities in their pantheon. For example, with Kama being a deity of love, they may confuse them for Turan, or mix up Ereshkigal with Calu (keeper of the Underworld) or Phersipnei (goddess of the Underworld). Anyone with a particularly strong divinity, they'd likely have a reaction to!
Personality-wise, they're very calm, but also very spacey. Summoned under a Master, they'll help them as part of their perceived duty, but don't have a very strong loyalty until you form a bond with them; it'll take a couple tries, and they may not always recognize you at first, but they recognize your soul and the energy in your command seal, which they respond to :-) getting to know them better means you get a good listener, older sibling type that may not be particularly quick on picking up on tasks or cues, but moves fast when focused on a task or in battle. Fights let Leinth move pretty much off instinct and muscle memory, so don't expect too much conversation out of them when you're in danger hehe!
Their Summon/Ascension lines at the top there are a bit hard to read, so I'll copy them down here!
Summon: "Caster-class Servant, true name Leinth... Huh? Lancer...? How odd..."
Ascension 1: "Ah, I see now. No, it's not my first time using a spear. I just... do not remember using one on the offensive. Perhaps it is just my memory."
Ascension 2 (not pictured): "Hm, hm... yes, I can stay like this a little longer. This form is very stable, don't worry.
Ascension 3: "Haha, so this is what it feels like. I had forgotten. Yes, it's quite freeing. Comfortable... familiar..."
Ascension 4 (also not pictured): "You're a bit odd, Master, bringing a silly old god like me this far. However, I can't say I don't appreciate it. Accompanying you... is as much entertaining for me as it is confusing. I do hope you'll let this old god follow you around a little longer."
I wanna flesh out skills and stuff for them bcs im insane but!!! ya!!!! infodump over Im bringing in Original Content
