A couple people wanted to know more about my version of “all the links meet up” so here’s a quick summary of the story I’ve got (probably subject to change...)
(Also disclaimer: I haven’t played age of calamity, don’t know much about it, and am basically ignoring the fact it exists. I know there’s time travel but I’m doing it my way, so sorry small-white-guardian-guy-I-don’t-know-the-name-of)
SO basically after Calamity Ganon is defeated, the Yiga clan is in shambles, but a new leader (who I haven’t decided much about) steps up and is actually sort of competent. The leader decides that since their usual mission is to eradicate the hero, why not take it a step further? They should get rid of all the heroes. Ever. Throughout all of time! Ganon will love them, it’ll be great! (This is happening maybe a year or so after botw btw)
So they look around and research for ways to time travel, and after a lot of searching and treasure hunting, (And occasional murder) end up with the Harp of Ages. And using that in accordance with the spell they use to track (botw) Link, they’re able to pull other heroes to the current time period, making them easy to track down and kill.
Only problem with that is that the Yiga are inexperienced with the Harp of Ages, and mixing it with that spell of theirs creates a few issues.
The heroes keep being dragged to the wrong time periods, plus it turns out the harp can only be used every so often because it’s so much magic being used, so it makes it rather difficult to actually get them all in the right spot and kill them! (Yiga clan is annoyed.)
There’s a few different groups of links being flung around together, and they eventually all end up in botw‘ era, but in between all the time travel they make friends, discuss trauma, found family, yada yada yada you all know the drill.
So yeah. I’ve got a couple sketches of them if anyone is more curious, but that’s the basic story!
