Ive been looking for a while now for a fic, I’m starting to feel like I hallucinated it: Aziraphale gets pregnant but he and Crowley have a fight before he realizes and then by the time Crowley comes back around their child is a full grown man and there’s lots of angst and misunderstandings. Can anyone help?
I can’t seem to find it. Does anyone else know of this one?

I mostly agree with this but will say that on tumblr the way you get exposed to criticism of your work might not be "vanity searching yourself" because tumblr likes to suggest shit to you, or people may reblog it not knowing the author follows them, you just go in the tag for your ship, etc. Which is why I prefer to keep criticism I do not mean to share with the author to private channels.
Yeah, one of the shitty things about Tumblr is the total inability to define semi-private spaces or un-advertised backchannels. You’re either globally on blast, or you don’t post at all. The closest we’ve got to quiet backchannels are replies (prominent in the post notes, but not blasted out to your followers) and tag chatter (semi-hidden in the post notes, broadcast to anyone who sees your reblog on their dash).
OTOH, the lack of privacy means fandom has evolved elaborate customs for when a post is and isn’t your business. If someone’s untagged, read-more’d vent post comes up in Tumblr search despite their best efforts, picking a fight with them for talking shit about your fic is a dick move. This is another area where some leeway has to be built in, because people’s immersion in Tumblr social norms varies a lot. But I’m pretty comfortable saying that if a fic-crit post didn’t say anything about you personally, clearly wasn’t meant to be seen by you, and wasn’t meant to affect anyone’s interaction with you, it’s a mild-to-moderate dick move to treat it as an attack or jump in without good reason. (Reasonable responses: catty vagueblogging, undeclared spitefic, griping to a sympathetic Discord channel and basking in all the totally unbiased outrage at how Wrong some people’s opinions are, etc.)

bonus opinion: most fans are better at identifying ‘there’s something not right here’ than they are at identifying what, exactly, isn’t right. good critical editing is a skill. i’ve been in fandom for years and can count on my fingers how many people i’ve come across who can do it. odds are that the majority of any given person’s concrit is just WRONG.
Endorsed. I mean, for one thing, coming up with useful suggestions with any kind of specificity means knowing what the author was going for, and oftentimes the whole problem is that the author isn’t sure. Or there’s a mutually-unidentified missing link between what they intended and what they actually got across. But even if you’ve reached “I can see what you’re trying to do, and I can handwave in the general direction of where and why it’s not landing right,” teasing out the specifics--let alone a fix--is the stuff of back-and-forth brainstorming sessions with a good beta. Pulling it off in a drive-by AO3 comment would be kind of uncanny.
@justaphage replied to your post “ugh i want to get a new laptop this summer and i want to get something...”
The new macbook airs only have one port w, trust me, you're gonna end up making up the weight difference in in adapters if you ever want to do so much as plug in a thumb drive.
i think that’s the macbook, which is the same price as a macbook pro, but...... worse? like, they’re light, but they only have the one port and don’t have very good processing speed. the macbook air they haven’t updated in a couple years so it still has the ports, but it’s like 2.96 and the pro is 3.02, which isn’t enough of a weight difference to really be a big deal for me? i’m kind of annoyed bc i’m swaying myself away from buying an air, which would be the smart financial decision, but in the long run, i think a pro would probably be better
i definitely don’t want the macbook, though. that doesn’t seem like it’ll do what i want at all. it’s pretty, but that’s..... kinda it, lmao.
I didn't realize you'd written so much in your Georgia/Suzanne AU...I love it!!!
I would write 50K if I could but until then I will KEEP TURNING OUT FICLETS!

how did you get the script to embed correctly here? I figured out how to make the list with all the fandoms clickable, but when I paste it in a post (even in html mode) it just stays a script
Huh, no idea. I just pasted it in a text post in HTML editing mode. (I do note that it only seems to work when viewed on my blog--I tried a version of the post without the read more above the list, and it just showed up as a weird little square. So possibly it has to be viewed on a javascript-friendly blog layout?)
Hey there, just wondering if podfic will be included as an art form for the bang? Might be challenging for 50k works but 5 and 10k shoudl be good depending on the schedule. Not sure who the mod team is but if you have podfic questions feel free to hit me up.
Yes, podfic is an art form for the bang! Check our guidelines for more info :) The claiming process will give an overview of the wordcount estimate of each fic so you will know which ones might be doable for you.
