Being a substitute teacher unhinges you from reality. 5 days, five different schools, potentially 5 different subjects. Anywhere from 3-7 different groups of students a day. Have you seen that student before, or do they just have the same haircut? Does this school pick up attendance or do I send a student? Time is a flat circle. Let’s all just be chill and we’ll make it through.
