I once used my lack of friends as a pick up line. I messaged a guy I had just met the day before at a party. I got along with him really well and decided to spark up a conversation over text. There was another party coming up soon and I noticed he was going. Not knowing how to start a conversation with him I decided to ask him if he was going as an excuse, to which he replied ‘why?’ And being the awkward human being that I am I said 'because I don’t have any friends and I thought it’d be nice to have at least one friend there!’
It’s pretty standard to say that a relationship didn’t bloom from this encounter.
