The kindly couple who take in and rescue Water Sheep dry him off with a towel, and give him a bed all to himself for the night. The next day they introduce him to their other sheep, the semi-reformed drowned lady considering herself a shepherdess of sorts.

They also give him a meal of wheat. Water Sheep had thought he would be eternally soggy and unloved and is touched. His new owners make sure that is not the case.

After the traumas he went through at his old home.

In my scenario where Water Sheep is helped to fake his own death, I imagine he is traumatized and has PTSD whenever he sees a magma cube or a magma block. He got out of the situation being fed healing potions but it was still a traumatic experience reminding him of the lack of love in his old home.

That fate was never deserved. The couple who adopt him keep him far away from them, and comfort and reassure him whenever he comes across one.

Melkor, Water Sheep’s father, fighting a giant Cave Spider Harassing the herd, and protecting his mate and lamb. The arachnid has no place in Broland and among his family flock.

Baby Water Lamby and Freya, and Sven look on in fright. Freya hopes that nothing will become of her mate, but appreciates that she has a big, strong ram to protect her, and the rest of the herd. I headcanon that Water Sheep is afraid of spiders and something like this happened when he was a lamb.

Sven intends on being the next line of defense if the Spider gets any further, but scary spider is scary.

Baby Water Lamby, on his first winter with his mother Freya. Seeing ice for the first time. He’s very unstable on his clumsy legs, and ice makes him nervous, so he stays close to his mom.

Water Sheep alone, feeling like Jorgen’s death was somehow his fault. Thinking about all of the harsh words and beatings Felix had given him. Wishing that he had a friend to keep him company in his watery prison.

Feeling like the horse’s life is so much more valuable than his, and maybe it would be better off if he was dead instead.

Poor sheepy.

Melkor, Water Sheep’s father is stolen by pillagers when Water Sheep was small. He is tormented into becoming their loyal beast of burden. Melkor still retains aspects of his gentle demeanor but after a while, there is not much he can do to fight his captors.

One day, the pillagers decide to raid Broland, and lay waste to it. Of course, Pewds manages to fight them off with Jorgen, Sven and others of his loyal bros. Melkor fighting alongside them, notices the watery prison of a cage, and recognizes the sheep as his son, Water Sheep.

He hadn’t seen him in years but he recognizes his offspring so he goes over and comforts Water Sheep. Water Sheep as saddened by what has happened to his father and the two of them wish they could help each other. Sven watches the family reunion from the distance, wishing he could get involved, but he knows Felix would not approve.
