Redesigns for my knd next gen continues! Now with these two!
Kiki:
For Kiki,I wanted to make her look like a mix of her parents. I changed her hair color to make her differ from her brother Sid. I also gave her Genki’s nose and Kanji’s skintone(I think,Idk the picture I use made his skin dark). I also wanted gave her a different outfit that resembled Kuki’s sweater.
Cala:
Cala pretty much stayed the same other than the change of fashion, mostly because her shirt kind of resembled Chad’s. Gave her her grandad’s skin tone and Justin’s hair color. Also decided to make her freckles more visible and give her the shy girl look. Also sparkles just because.
"What the hell,Dickson?!" Maurice whispered harshly to Chad, who had his face planted on the table.
"I know...I know, I'm sorry!" Chad whispered back.
"Sorry isn't going to cut a week's worth of useful data that was in front of you, you idiot!" Maurice shoved a tortilla chip into a bowl of salsa.
Chad nodded in agreement. He was supposed to go on a date with Stacey in hopes of learning the new plans of a teen invasion. As second in command of the cheer squad, Stacey was the right hand woman of the Prom Queen Sara and was the first person told about the plans.
Lucky for the TND, Stacey was kind of a blabbermouth and would tell one of her friends --or in Chad's case, her boyfriend,-- about it before The Steve could to every teen. It was an easy mission for Chad.
Until he screwed it up by going to the arcade with Justin. He tried to say no to him, but he couldn't resist Justin's stupid puppy eyes and ended up staying there for three hours, while Stacey was standing out there cold and alone. Next day, Stacey was yelling at him in front of the school with tears in her eyes.
But that wasn't the worst of it as he was chewed out by Ariana, who had to put up with Sara just so she can get the info herself.
God knows she won't let it go for a while..., Chad thought then looked up at a still pissed off Maurice. Maurice was normally a chilled guy, but this was the first time he saw him angry about something.
"This is the sixth time you blew off a mission because of Justin!" Maurice growled before shoving a chip in his mouth. "Do I have to remind you that you're dating Stacey, not him!"
"Yeah, I know, but he did those stupid puppy eyes again! I couldn’t-!"
"That's not an excuse, Dickson! You told me to my face that you got over your crush on him!"
"I am!" Chad shouted, slamming his fist on the table. He was glad that the restaurant was full tonight. "Look, don't worry! I already made up with Stacey! So we'll be-!"
Ding!
Chad glanced down at his phone before grabbing it and checking his message.
“Shit,” he whispered, his eyes as big as dinner plates.
“Stacey?” Maurice asked, getting another chip from the bowl.
Chad shook his head. “Justin. He’s asking me if I want to go see the new Heatpacker movie on Frid--.”
“Raincheck him!” Maurice cut him off. “We have a mission with Erica and I don’t want to explain to her why you went to the movies instead of helping us to stop Father’s plans!”
Chad looked back at the message and sighed in defeat. He was right (as always) . If he was ever going to prove to Numbuh Infinity that he was worthy to be Earth’s representative of the GKND, he had to focus less on teens stuff and more on the KND.
Besides,it’s not like I’m that attached to Justin... Chad thought as he finished sending the message.
Am I?
_______
“Well?” Lizzie nervously asked her partner, who looked at his phone with a blank expression. “What did he say?”
After a few seconds, Justin’s lips started to curve into a small smile. He turned to the redhead and showed her the screen.
Sorry,Just, I have plans that day with Maurice maybe another time?
"Papa," Calla said from across the table she looked up from her eggs to Justin feeding her younger brother. He looked over to his seven-year-old daughter smiling. "How did you fall in love with dad?"
"Probably when we were teens why do you ask?" He smiles bouncing Xavier and wiping Alexander's mouth.
"It's Valentine's day tomorrow millions of people come into the shop to get flowers and all kinds of special orders."
She and her dad spent hours at the shop for a month making exotic and grand bouquets for people. She hated having to do all the work. She never mined as her allowance was boosted due to the extra thousands of dollars that poured in on the day.
She never understood why people would want to do that for someone. Her dad said it was for a love she had ewwed thinking he was going to start talking about her and her papa's relationship again.
"People buy the stupidest things for people many don't love all the much. If Dad loves you why doesn't he give you something grand?"
"He does every year." He nodded to the hanging baskets of flowers he kept healthy everyone was a bouquet Chad gave him on the day." And I love everyone he makes for me."
He truly did once they began to fall he would give them a hanging pot and nurture them for years. They were about fifteen of them around the house.
"No, I mean something so amazing you might never stop loving. Your favorite thing that he gave you." Maybe it was jewelry or maybe something expensive.
"Probably you and your siblings. Who by the way have yet to wake up." He nodded at Maria's door. It was ten and she still wasn't awake.
"So love isn't basically about the gifts?" She shoves toast into her mouth not satisfied.
"No, it's about the person you love with all your heart. I love your dad with all of mine."
"Of course, it wasn't always like that. Me and your dad started as friends we meet because your uncle Steve put us together."
"Is that when you loved him?" She asked impatiently.
"No it was the months after that I can't call it love as it was mostly a crush. I never pursued him until years later." He said blandly thinking of the dances and training sessions.
"Why not?"
"He had a girlfriend your aunt, Stacy. We were good friends and I knew she likes him a lot so I let her have him." He remembered leaning on the wall at gatherings while they danced and flirted with each other. He only came for fun but always saw them.
"But aunt Stacy and dad are friends." She raised an eyebrow looking exactly like Chad. He smiles brightly at the look remembering the first time he saw it years ago.
"Yeah, that took a long time. When your dad got out during the war we kissed and that's when he said he loved me." He had hated Chad for what he did so much that the first thing he did was punch him in the face. He was caught off guard by him kissing him anyways.
"Did you say it back?" Looking out the white windows to see people flooding in.
"No." He blushed getting up with her brothers on his hips. "I said me too." He blushed.
She nearly spilled her food as she laughed. "You said me too when dad said he loved you?!"
"I was a dork back in the day Alla." He laughs placing both twins in a playpen. "Am surprises he didn't laugh too."
"Your dad and I started dating on my home planet Morgayne. It was a bit of a culture shock but he got to see everything and appearance it a bit more."
"We stayed there for a few years when it was tense for planets to talk. He asked me during the Dušan rain to marry him. It was my favorite time of the year and he made it an even better one."
Dušan Rain was like a butterfly watching. The Dušan were giant-sized manta rays with symbols all over their bodies so beautiful elder Morgayne believed them to be gods as they shined and admitted glitter like particles all over. Giving life to where they land they passed through the cosmos on their way to the hydro bubble to mate.
She saw one with her parents when she turned five as did her sister on her fifth birthday. They planned to go for the twins' fifth as well. Her papa saw one the same while her dad saw one on his fifteen while it was a promise ring he never proposed.
"He never did anything grand but it always felt like that to me." He said smiling down.
"Now go wake your sister. Am going to eat her food if she won't."
Calla smiles getting up. She had to go help her dad anyway. She walked in on him fighting with a businessman.
"Do you know who I am? I am Jimmy Worthington I own the land I could have you evicted!"
"I bought it myself! You don't own it anymore!" He snaps back not seeing his daughter next to him. "So fuck you! Fuck your name! And get out!"
"How dare you! I will make sure the papers hear about this!" He yells storming out nearly knocking someone over.
"Little bitch-" He goes pale seeing his daughter. She didn't say anything for a few moments but then looked behind him. He looked behind him expecting his husband's face he instead was meet with the swear jar he sighed taking a few hundred and putting it in there.
"Want me to take over?"
"Am going to give his bouquet to a goat." He snaps going behind the counter letting the seven-year-old handle it.
Surprisingly Mr.Worthington was the only grouchy customer they had so she did her job to problem.
"How did you fall in love with Papa?" She asks as she braided orchids together they closed up half an hour early. "I want to know your side of the story."
"Have you heard your Papa's already?" He asked writing down a note in cursive.
"He punched you in the face yet you still kissed him." She smirked putting the crown away. "That's funny."
"It's what I get after putting him aside like that." He smiled. "I was a jerk."
"Are you still?" She teases.
"No!" He snaps making a face Calla just smirk wider. "Am toleratable."
"Did you like him in your teen years?"
"Yeah a year after. I didn't try he didn't seem to interested back then." He said remembering how he hung out with Maurice and Steve more.
"Was that when you dated aunt Stacy?" She said it so calmly he almost thought she said something else. He whipped his head so fast he gave himself whiplash.
