So I did this one watching the Drawfee episode where they reinterpret pokémon based on their names. I rolled some random pokémon and picked Dustox. I went with a Dusty Musk Ox design. I did end up kind of just drawing a Musk Ox with rocks but yeah here's my Dustox.
I'm catching up on my Drawfee vids while doing art. I drew this while watching this vid which had a random animal with an random aesthetic and its name is based on a random music genre. So I found some generators online and started drawing. It's nice having fun doing art again, I definitely missed this.
Thinking of the pose is the hard part of doing daily sketches, so I decided to cheat and steal poses from Across the Spider-Verse. I've got timestamps for the reference frames if anyone's curious.

For maximum chaos I decided to you a tourney bracket to choose my favorites instead of doing a typical top 10. Anyways here are the results!

Obviously my Blanksford OCs had a huge bias over the other art pieces but I think that's fine. Madi showing up in the top 10 three separate times was funny as well.
Looking at these closely really does make me want to work on lining and coloring some to make them better. The Blanksford Note Cards, Gabby's Blanksford Snap Card, the Plushie Scorchio, the next Colostle Story chapter (, and my comic too I guess) are all things I want to work on in December.
I wanted to finish this chapter of my Colostle story but didn't quite get it done. It'll probably be posted tomorrow. Here's some art from it to finish out the month's daily drawing challenge. I'm gonna keep the daily posts coming for a bit as well. I'm not sure how long I'll keep it up but I don't want to stop while I've got this momentum and discipline built up.
I know I said I'd do the Blanksford note cards but I spent hours prepping for my upcoming first adventure with Shadow of the Demon Lord today and I really just don't feel like it.
I drew maps and took notes and because it's a daily art challenge month, I did a quick scene sketch for a goblin magician selling random Rank 0 incantations with funny names in the farmer's market.
His name is Hackphlegm and I think he's a fun character to hopefully introduce the game's magic system in a fun way. (He's kind of off in the corner of the map so it's possible the players won't even see him...)
