Send me an ‘x’ for our muses bumping into each other under a mistletoe
Pressing the likes of a stone bowl upon the table, filled to the brim with snacks that Elena had asked her to place on the table, Bonnie found that as she stepped back she bumped into a person.
Raising her eyebrows at the vampire, Bonnie offered a small and comforting smile her way, holding back her sigh, “I get it— everyone’s weird about this— about us being here, okay.”
Bonnie’s face shook heavily, catching the gaze of Damon from across the room who was peeking his aquatic orbs over Caroline’s head to stare at the two of them
Bringing Katherine to Elena’s Christmas party wasn’t exactly the greatest idea, but the young witch just… didn’t care.
"I have— no regrets,” she said finally, following the other woman’s gaze to the light above them draped in mistletoe. Even though Katherine’s features were adorned with frustration, she could just make out the challenge brimming in her perfect orbs.
Her own smile curved ruefully, “This is how it’s going to be Katherine,” she murmured with her eyebrows raised, one hand moving to her wait, the other angled under her jaw, “— No regrets.”
Without scanning her orbs over the tense crowd Bonnie simply took a step further and kissed the vampire as though it had been the lazy Saturday night previously when both of them had been glowing after she had lit a fire in the living room just for Katherine. Tearing her lips from the other hadn’t been easy, but it needed to be done just so Bonnie could peek into the doppelganger’s chocolate brown orbs and nod more determined than she had in a while to say the right three words,
